I got to drive my car today for the 1st time!!!!

...well sort of, but not really. Here's the skinny:
I got my Jetta in May of 1999. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif The night before Thanksgiving (1999), I hit a small doe, and flung it about 50 yards over a set of train tracks. It destroyed my pass. side headlight and fender, my grille, bent my hood up, and cracked my bumper. My car sat till the next week when I got an appointment and dropped it off at a body shop to get fixed. http://****************.com/smile/emthdown.gif
Last year, my auto tranny died sometime around the end of October. My car spent Thanksgiving alone at AWE, up on a lift, with the driveshafts hanging, awaiting a 5 spd. to fill the giant void in the engine compartment where the auto once was. http://****************.com/smile/emthdown.gif
So, today was the first Thanksgiving since I've had my car that I've actually driven it! Horraaayyy for me!
