I have seen some products from Z-Engineering and was hoping Neuspeed would have a super like they have for the 2.0 completed soon, but no luck.
What do you think I should go with and NOT NOT NOT go over this budget (its to the penny
)
Thanks for your help.

If you cant go a penny over the $3257 I hate to be the one to bust the bubble, but you wont get either. Z's charger is $4500+. And, well a full Turob set-up is even more. Sorry man, keep saving up!!

put together a custom turbo, a turbo off a scraped car, an intercooler of your choice, plumbing etc etc, and the rest get custom fabbed or bought.
I don't really know about other turbo's out there besides matrix turbo's, have fun man and whatever you choose it will be sweet http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

None...Supercharger is $4500 and the cheapest turbo is $3000. They charge like $600-$800 installing a turbo system. Save...I was going to take your route but I thought I would rather buy a LSD, clutch, and 6 speed add on kit to get that power to the wheels. Then think 2.8T and smoke em' http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

ATP Stage I kit for VR6 (300hp) is $3100 (www.vwturbo.com, as above), which doesn't leave you much room for installation but does fit the budget if you do it yourself and have a weekend or two to spend.
More importantly, however, and I know others will chime in to agree, are the peripheral components necessary to assure you don't kill yourself (or your car, but the former is more important) -- i.e. limited-slip differential (so your newfound power gets to the road instead of slipping into oblivion), a stronger clutch (you WILL fry your stock clutch with a few bad launches), better brakes so you can stop when you find yourself cruising along at 110mph, and a stiffer suspension so you don't slide all over the road (and die) when you start taking corners faster, which you will.
So in short, you should plan to spend at LEAST $5k for a reasonable setup that will last.
Am I missing anything?

I think you mean 250HP. Their 300HP is the Stage II. And that is $3900

I dont think you could do it for $3200. Even if you could get he turbo kit.....and install it for that much you wouldnt have money left over for necessities like: Quaife, Maybe clutch, Gauges (boost, egt, temp gauges), and if anything goes wrong and you need some extra money for parts you will be SOL. Sounds kinda risky to strech yourself on a turbo project if its your daily car. If this car is not your daily driver i would go for it.
