I know RedRocketRado knows the answer to this....

I was prying and PRYING at my tach and speedo needles and they wouldn't budge. I ended up snapping the miniscule metal spindle that attaches the needle to the mechanism. Well, now that I have everything apart on the tach needle, their seems to be no possible way that those needles come off without breaking them. The metal shaft that comes up through flares off and the black plastic just behind the white part of the needle is sandwiched between the white and the metal which is all "melted" in order to make it one piece.
May point is A) How the hell will I fix this? The snap is at a 60 degree angle so I can get the tach needle to be aligned properly, bu it doen't stay in very well.
B) how will I remove my speedo needle without doing the same thing?

I thought is was going to be a funny topic if R3 knew the answer to it.

But when it comes to faces and needles he is the answer man.
