Hi first off new here but couldn't find my problem. Every so often when accelerating at a medium rate when the DSG in my GTI shifts 1 to second and rarely second to third the car will feel like it loses all power for a second almost like it wants to stall and then kicks in and off she goes what can I do to fix this or it's something I just need to live with? The car had around 175k miles and it's my daily driver 80+ miles one way to work! Thanks for any and all insight.

Does this happen when drive train is cold or hot?

Usually hot but occasionally it's done it after a short distance

Has this Dsg ever been serviced, at 175k it should have been done 4 times already and heading for the 5th.

I'm not sure as I just bought the car the owner had some upper engine work done and testing through it sounds like he let can follower go
