I have a Drake BVH that I need rebuilt and, I just don't trust the locals to do it. What I mean is if they mess it up I'm not getting another one. So who is the best at watercooled vw heads. I do not mind shipping and waiting. I just want it done right. TIA
Dan
BTW I'm in AZ

AZ Cylinder Head in Phx has done a fair share of work for me, Bob Naughton is the owner, 800.341.4042 or 602.272.6711. They rebuilt the head in my Golf GTi 1600.

How do you know its a Drake built head?
Curious, is one of the injector holes welded shut?

Where is the Drake stamping?
I have a really old 1.7 that was bored and stroked to 2.0 and it has carbs, Drake cam sprocket, oil cooler, baffled pan, etc. Basically state of the art VW for the late 70s

My head has one of the injector holes weldes shut so its carb use only now, thats the part that really makes me wonder who built it.
