I was wondering if anyone out there..knows of any websites..or any Vw parts places..where i can find a good price on a stock Vw B3 16v muffler....the best price i could find was $116.If you live in the tri-state area...and you know of some deals going on, or even if your sellinga used muffler...either way pleas contact me...and let me know......thanx a lot..

Why...do you have an aftermarket muffler that you need to get rid of on your car because you're selling it...or did your original one break?

If it's the former, I might be willing to trade

Im just trying to get the car running..smoothly.cuz the pipe tis welded from the muffler..until....the end the car...fell off...so i fifgure the easiest way is to get a cheap...muffler..just for now....something that will help me pass inspection...but if i can find a cheap aftermarket..im down with that too...depends..basically i just neeed to put a muffler on the car....

Here in Canada we have this chain of stores called Part Source, basically a distributor of auto parts and tools that is sold at the well know Canadian Ties stores..
OK deal is they have the exact mufflers (both front and rear) that you are looking for, basic OEM replacements that are non stainless steel. I got them for about $120 each CND. Your US prices should be under $100. Just be werey of the muffler shop $29 special generics, I had one of those and it didnt fit right so the chop bent the hangers to make it fit

It fell off cuz of that. Passata are beautiful cars, at a price. If you buy the cheapest thing do not expect great results cuz the car will turn around and bite you later.

thanx for the advice.....i just started with passats....im in college.and things can get a bit hairy with money...so for me...the cheao way out..is what i need....cuz for now..the B3..is my only ride..ya know....but eventually i have big plans for it....i apreciate...the knowledge...its allways good to know new things...i thought all mufflers would fit the rbber hokk things...aight ill look into that thanx..bro....
