After reading about the D1 in the snow... and seeing the specs on the W12... frig, i'm all about the D1. It would be faster off the line than the 550.. how's that? it has AWD! and putting that many ponies on the ground will mean whip-lash launches!

I doubt the Phaeton will be any faster than an F550 Maranello in any way shape or form. AWD or not......

Well, a Phaeton might be faster than a 550 if the Phaeton was stripped down, and had a turbo or two slapped on it, had some high-lift cams, etc... You might get 1000 hp out of that engine, at least (although it probably wouldn't be too reliable).

It would be reliable because the W12 survives over 210mph in 24 hours. that's an interesting thought of having an engine that gives u the chance to get 1000hp.
