i looked at the botom of the connectiong rods and they looked new then i look a tad harder and see they are lazer cut with the this exact cut in it

are those oem conecting rods? or do you think they are aftermarket? first time ive ever seen a 16v on the inside so i dono.

looked to be on the smoth side and silver. and the crank you could tell was vw and cast iron with all the vw stamping in it.
