I go to New Carlton metro station on fridays and saturdays to watch some racing.. if the cops dont get anal. i hardly see any vw's racing out there. i have to wait to get my 6speed 200hp jetta or course.. but for now i just go there and watch. i have a green 95 jetta iii gl 2.0, i'm saving up for my new jetta, so i dont race, but i take videos. one of them is at http://www.bethejudge.com/movies/racing.mov its in quicktime format. you can get quicktime from apple.com. anyways, hope to see some people out there and if you see me say hi. i always have a video camera on me. ps. if the cops get anal... clear out.. follow the crowd to gas stations or shopping centers dont get too frustrated. i think theres racing at anne arundel too... if you have a talkabout radio tune into channel 11 privacy code 0

My buddies have gone down there the past two Fridays in a row, and they're going this Friday as well. I haven't been able to make it because of work, but I definitely gotta roll down soon!

yup the crew should be on their way now.... should be: black 'raddo, black mk2 jetta, black mk4 jetta, black mk3 cab, red mk3 jetta, silver mk4 golf(maybe?), blue CRX, and a silver RX-7

i got some more videos coming soon... new carlton is getting about as bad as v street.. i found another strip though near bwi.. i got about 20 people to go there last week, maybe this friday we could get a bunch of people to go out

That strip is actually right around the corner from Arundel Mills. It has been our little secret spot for a few years now. Too bad they built the mall so darn close. If you go under rt. 100 going away from the mall you will run right into it at the other end of the road. Cops are hit and miss there and it is best to arrive in very small groups as not to draw attention. When they see a line of 10 cars going that way they know what is going on. We have had many late nights there without being disturbed.
Oh yeah, if you want to stay legal and hit a track, Capitol raceway is still open on Fridays 5pm-10pm, and on Sundays 12pm-5pm for test and tune, cost is only $10. There were a few of us there this past Sunday. As long as the temp or wind chill is not below 32, it is not raining or snowing they will be open.
