You may need to do this depending on what you're swapping the engine into.

TB is upside down for hood clearance issues.

I don't.
I'm almost through acquiring parts for my turbo kit, this should help some. My main gripe with the ABA 2.0 is that is is oversquare (long stroke in proportion to piston diameter.) This results in a torque biased motor that is decent for hardcore low-speed commuter duty, but makes relatively low hp in comparison to 4 cylinder engines from other manufacturers with similiar displacement. The motor is reluctant to rev and is happiest at a static RPM. It has more in common with an Onan power production unit on a welder or generator than a car engine. It is TOUGH however, and can take forced induction pretty well.

I too was pretty curious as to how people felt about this motor in there swaps. my 92 jetta is going to the shop tomarrow for this transplant. I just hope it is all worth it.
