currently i have 18x8 ASA AR1's with 235/40/18 PZero Neros i was hoping to find 18x9 AR'1s and run them in the rear with some 265/35/18's but tire rack does not sell 18x9's and i heard they do exist, but even if they exist what offset will i need to get the wheels to fit and will i need spacers? and can 265's be done without rubbing or will i have to step down to 255's
and mods please dont move this to the tire forum, this is specific for my 03 mk4 jetta and that forum is sponsored by tire rack who doesnt sell what i need anyways

the look is hot...performance is not helped!

yeah i know there is no preformance gain and its a bit pricey but my car sits slightly lower in the front and i think huge tires would look hot in the rear

alright, i know this will work. go here to order the two wheels
http://www.tirerack.com/servle...cial= add them to cart then remove the front.
they will be 5x120 w/ 40 offset. 18x9.
then you need an adapter for lug conversion. two options
if you want a final offset of the wheels to be 20 which will hide under the wheel well a little go here but u have to order all 4.
http://www.ecstuning.com/stage...pters
i ordered the adapters from adaptitusa, they are 25.4mm and will give you a 14.5 final offset. u can order just two and makes about 2 wks to make them.
http://www.adaptitusa.com/inde...ID=72
personally i would really make sure you can not order them for our lug pattern as adapters can and are a bit of a pain.
i know for a fact that asa's site does not say that there is a 5x100 18x9. but it may not be updated.
i hope this has helped a little bit. i tried, but i see you going through what i just did.good luck http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

EDIT EDIT EDIT: SORRY MY FIRST LINK IS NOT WORKING.
go to tirerack, type bmw for car, 2003 year, 330ci coupe for model and you will find the wheels for optional 18x9 for the rear.

not to thread jack or anything..... but does anyone have a 225/45 on a 9"x17" on front and back? would there be too much poke in the front?...

I have 17x8, the front is almost flush on my jetta, 17x9 would poke a little, if you have a golf or gti it would poke more.
