It seems to me, in my experience, that the whole shifting system on corrado vr6s are a weak point. On both of mine the top half of the arm coming out of the tranny connecting to the cable snapped off like nothing, and now they've both had metal pieces inside the shift box break on me. What's up with that? I'm not usually really hard on the tranny. My last one was fine and I tried a little speed shifting but since I remembered what it was like to not have syncros in my g60 I didn't do it much. Now with the vr6 I have now I haven't speed shifted or anything and have tried to take it easy since the syncros are already gone on 2nd and 3rd. Any thoughts? Eventually I'd like to upgrade to a short shift kit or at least put some new bushings inside the box. Thanks guys!
