Anybody ever wonder what Chip Foose could/would do to a Corrado on OverHaulin'? I understand they do a lot of older Muscle Cars but they also did a Honda Civic which looked pretty nice.
Picture of the Honda:

and some Corrado content:

Well I could almost guarantee a two-tone paint job of some sort. I bet he would keep it relatively stock looking, on big wheels and dropped pretty nicely. While I'm sure it would look great, I think there are guys on here that can do it better.

I can some what agree with you on that statement. But I think it would be interesting what he could come up with for the Corrado.

They also put TV's in the headlights of one car.

Dont know what Chip would do, prolly would look awsome, but then again it might go the opposite way as Corrado's normaly arnt like most other cars that those show see. I think we fall more into the lines of older Porsche themes.

I really like what he does with the old muscle cars - but that hack-job Civic makes me pray every day that my family doesn't try to do me the favour of writing to Overhaulin'. http://****************.com/smile/emthdown.gif

id still go on the show with my g60, if i didnt like it i could sell it and do the project the way i wanted, but im pretty sure id like it. they ususally follow the owners desires a bit.

so if youre reading this chip, we want AWD , coilovers, stock bumpers, upgraded lights, and a system that lets us use our trunk and have a spare

He probably paint it put some wheels on and do the interior. He probably couldn't search down parts so he'd probably stick on some crap body kit bumpers if the car needed new bumpers, I know they wouldn't be able to do it in 7 days if they tried looking for oem parts it would turn into the longest running episode kinda like ours. 3 months later hears your car you got overhauled . I'd hate to be overhauled personally , I'd be kinda pissed off and probably sell the car or just sell everything off it and make my own car.

Hah, I agree with yah on the point about not getting my ride pimped... My hands only!!!
For the most part, Foose is pretty straight forward with car projects, I think he has a good respect for original design and "OEM- Plus" so it would be interesting to see how it comes out. He has built some pretty sweet clean rides, I'm sure if he stuck with that, and saw the corrado as a "classic" vs an import he would make it pretty sweet.

Oddsare, he would probably get with some VW tuner, or find Corrado specialists. I think they do a good job in reality in matching styles to styles, meaning rice with rice, and muscle with muscle. I would atleast hope Chip and his team would go Euro with one if they ever did it.

Re: I wonder what Chip Foose would do to a Corrado (deth_core)

This is soo funny, my wife and I were just talking about this today in the car. We are moving to Cali pretty soon, new military orders. I told her that I'm going to buy a corrad in need of a full resto when I get out there. I told her everything I would want on the car
So when the ask the wife what I would like she knows... I specifically said NO 2-TONE!.... haha Stock lookin interior rolled fenders, turbo of coarse... ha and my favorite, a tan dash. I would leave pictures of all kinds of nice Corrado's in the interior so he'd catch a hint.
