My golf fogs up like none-other. Now that its winter the whole inside is covered in ice. Anyone in cold climates know how to de-ice their VW? It's really a pain to have to scrape the windows on the inside more then you would the outside.

that happens to my winshield sometimes. i just let the car warm up and blast the defroster. when the ice starts to melt, it kinda evaporates, so you dont have a bunch of water all over your dash.

It could be a simple as bad floor mats!
They get wet, spill on your carpet your drivng heat going it's above freezing.
You shut your car off heat rises till it freezes.
No? but it's obviously to moist in there
-shop vac your floors (when warmed up) & always leave the window open a crack when starting with windshield defrost on.
