Not OP, but I'm planning a similar job and it'll probably run you around USD$5-6k for parts, another $3-4k for labour if you don't machine the block, add another grand or two if you do.
And by that I'm only talking about getting the pistons, rods, valve springs, new seals/gaskets, turbo, and fuel system mods.
And yea, lets just say if you go beyond that, it can be quite the rabbit hole...

Just an update*
The crank sensor has broken off and has fallen into the block damaging a piston/oil squirter and crank cage.
IE has closed their building program, but are covering only the damaged parts, not labor, fluids or miscellaneous parts.

I'm surprised they offered any warranty whatsoever..., that sucks though, hopefully its not too painful to fix. Is this a common failure point for big power builds (my (mostly) IE long block build is almost done...)?

Not really sure, my mechanic thought he was for sure going to see signs of crank walk, but there were absolutely none.
The best theory I've heard so far is that it was possible it wasn't tq correctly. And it just failed over time.
At this point, thats the best i have to offer
Welp I now understand why IE stopped their program. This was a IE long block, installed by a authorized IE dealer.
Less than 10k miles, less than 600hp.
