i am wondering this for dyno purposes
If i switch ECUs
will have to wait a certain period of time 'til it will work right. The ECU should have already "learned" the chip, but will my car have to "learn" the ECU?

not sure but i would definitely drive the car around for a while just to make sure ...
theoretically if the ecu has already been driven in another car with the chip in it.. then it should be used to the chip... but each car is different and depending on the info the ecu gets from the sensors on your car it may or may not adjust the output accordingly...
