Ignition barrel removal? (B3 passat)

Hi everyone. I'm parting out my B3 passat. It's almost completely stripped. The engine and every piece of wiring is out of it. I also need to remove the ignition barrel as I want to keep the parts all together so when the engine is transplanted into another car it is all working together.
Does anyone know how to remove this?

Are you actually referring to the ignition switch? If so, search PAOM for "ignition swith replacement" and you'll end up with a ton of usefull info, there are also a few DIY's. Basically, it isn't an overly complicated job, and there are two approaches -- removing the steering wheel and everything else to reach the ignition switch from the top; or taking out the whole steering column and accessing the ignition switch from above.
