ok so my friend has a passat and somebody screwed up the ignition lock pretty well, and from what he is telling me it sounds like the ignition switch has gone bad due to somebody trying to steal the car. Anyway my question is what years of passats have the same ignition lock and switch as the 2003, and possibly other volkswagen models that share the same system. lmk thanks guys... also if anybody has any laying around give me a shout.
