I'm getting my B5.5 tinted... Advice?

I'm going to be getting window tint on all but my front windshield. I've heard of doors panels and rear ledges being removed, yikes! Any do's or don'ts with window tint. I'm getting it professionally installed and would like to get some sort of metal based tint. I'd like to get the rear done as one piece and have the side windows done so that you can't even tell it was done aftermarket. I'm checking out a place in San Jose today and I'll see what they say.

Look for Llumar tint with a lifetime warranty. All Llumar film is metallic and looks great when installed by a licensed installer. Make sure the rear package tray is removed to do the back glass. They should cover the middle brakelight. If they don't cover the brakelight it will most likely look like crap.

to follow up, i am also thinking of getting the same type of tinting done. My two questions are 1) why should the rear be done in one piece? 2) will i regret getting 20% all around? is 20% legal in most states?
TIA

Go to this website
http://autowindowtintings.com/main.cfm?action=laws
It's got the regulations for all states. Remember that the glass itself is rated aroung 80% so adding a 20% film will result in a much lower number than 20%.

I have 3M Scotchtint "Neutral" (metallic as opposed to charcoal) 35% on my indigo blue b5.5... love it. Rear window is one piece... no removel of door panels or any other part (except two sunscreen hooks on the rear headliner).
There are a few pics in my signature... the ones on the cobblestone are pre-tint, the others (shot at the beautiful University of Florida campus) are after.
