I'm getting screwed!!!

Sorry folks, I have to vent.
I won an Ebay auction for a "T-Rex in line fuel pump (Like New

)" over a month ago and STILL haven't gotten it...

I did what every professional ebay buyer does:
1) Send in a money order payment the next day.
2) Eat/sleep/sh!t next to your mailbox waiting for the postman.
Nothing...
I've emailed HER, countless times. I get the normal pathetic excuses...

Duh... Hello, I sent the payment to a house address, not a P.O. box.
I have been planning to install my Cartech FMU for the last 3 weeks, so you can see my fustration. I don't want to install the FMU without the in-line pump, so this kinda relates to Golf & Jetta III.

that T rex pump is pretty large for your application...also, 95% people utilize the FMU with a stock pump perfectly fine....throw it on and have some fun...hopefully your pump will come in soon.

I made it from a piece of plastic I found in my junk yard (Garage).

The Speedo/Tach are the AMS gauge face.

This is a whole different topic that I would like to see covered. I don't know of anyone with a supercharger who's running an FMU also. I would like to know what the FI experts think.

My friend always told me that overkill is always good when dealing with forced induction. Can you use that new pump with stock injectors or do you have to upgrade them?

Well, ebay purchases are ensured, go llok on the site...won't get you your pump, but it might get you your money back and you can leave some negative feedback to help others....

What kinda payment did you send? Check, money order? I'd tell them you are going to cut payment on whatever cause its not worth the hassle. Get a phone number. Sue'em, see Judge Judy. Okay, you got me frustrated, too. Do tell how the performance is if it comes in, best of luck to you!

ebay is set up to protect your rights...just file a fraud complaint with them and leave bad feedback to the owner of the auction. You will get your money back or at least force taht person to send it....
You could have also stopped payment on that money order...probably too late now....find out if they have cashed it.

call the customer service number provided by Money Order Company that issued the M.O....usually, you can track the status of the M.O. and see if it was cashed....I've gone through this a few times with eBay....but for the most part have had some decent experiences....good luck...

I went through Ebay's fraud service last summer on a set of carbs I bought that were totally misrepesented. Ebay contracts withLloyds of London, an insurance company, to cover every auction up to $200 (minus a $25 processing fee so it's really $175).
It took a while, but I got $175 of the total back. If you're serious about this and determined to not let them screw you, you can get your $ back.
You can also report/threaten to report them to the FBI's fraud investigation wibsite https://www.ifccfbi.gov/

Well a friend of mine and fellow vwvortexer lost $1600 on a Viao. Its all good, but dude has vanished and he lost the info to take to the feds.
