I'm getting so FRUSTRATRED!!

I just went out to fix my reverse lights, while I'm out there I notice the plastic rain catcher, that collects the water from the windshield is gone. GONE!! How would that come out??? It's under the hood. I tell ya if it's not one thing or another with this car. I just want to know what kind of problems everyone else has. I know I am not alone here.
Here is my list in just 3 months!
1. Water leak (left it outside the first weekend, 2 inches of water in the car)
2. No brake lights
3. Cracked my headlight lense (ruined 2 bulbs)
4. Broken fog lights
5. Broken spoiler
6. Power drain 1 battery and now I have no powerwindows
7. Broken reverse lights
8. Leaks powersteering fluid
9. The day I drove it home, the back lisense plate pannel came off. I drove for 2 hrs looking for it
10. Everytime I turn on the rear defroster I blow a fuse
11. Lost the center caps on 2 of my brand new Team Dynamic rims
12. Not car related, but my amp caught on fire
13. Passenger side marker just fell of somewhere last weekend
14. Because of the broken reverse lights and broken defroster I ran into a blazer that was parked behind me on my second day of ownership
I don't know I might just be ranting, but I am getting sick of it. Although for some reason I still love this car

Wow.. after listening to your guy's problems I am increadibly happy mine hasn't suffered the same fate...... yet. Spoiler still works, sunroof still works, good interior, only things I can complain about is one broken fog light and the highest setting on the heater doesn't work
Re: I'm getting so FRUSTRATRED!! (nuemerik)

Here's my list, after owning it for only 6 months or so...
1. Sunroof rack needs to be replaced ($500)
2. Rear defrosting needs repairing ($???)
3. No switch for foglights ($???)
4. Need new tires ($500)
5. Coolant leak ($???)
I know, it's pathetic, but the rear defroster and the broken sunroof really bugs me, plus, I've wanted to do so much to my car, since it's mostly stock, but I've waited for so long and nothings happened, I have neuspeed springs for it, but haven't found the time to equip them on my C.

Re: I'm getting so FRUSTRATRED!! (nuemerik)

i feel ya, less than 6 months...
1)new tranny
2)new Clutch
3)new coil pack
4)new engine speed sensor
5)full tune up (not really something going bad, but definately a chunk of money)
6)the usual sunroof problems
7)the usual leak in the passenger floor
8)most recently..(Yesterday) ECU?!?!?!?
i hardly have the money or the time do add anything aftermarket with all the time and money i use fixing it.
but when it all comes together working for a week or two (j/k its usually a little longer than that!) I Wouldnt trade it for anything!

Cheers to the C

ok, the Corrado didnt come with a raintray under the hood.... The only ones that have been in corrados are the A2 ones that people put in on their own.

WOW i remember those days

My list was A LOT longer
ok here are a few things i know about
as for the rain catcher thing....get one from an A2 jetta/golf takes some heat gunning but it fits and looks a LOT better
the water leak is the air vent under the windshield on the pass side. either the drain hole is clogged or the gasket under the screen over teh vent is bad...check those
cracked headlights....i have an extra set just missing the trim around the lens that have had the brackets ghetto fixed(works fine though) email me if you want em cheap.
how is your spoiler broken? my guess would be either the motor($35) or the assembly just needs to be regreased(2 hours or your time)
power streering leak is probly the power steering rack(this kinda pricy unless you can put it in yourself)
as for the rear lights check the grounds and the reverse light check the switch in under the shifter
and the AMP catching fire.......NICE.....dont think anyone else has done that http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif
hope that helps.....

Re: I'm getting so FRUSTRATRED!! (azartman)

The rain catcher that I am talking about, goes along the winshield. I'm sure all of you have it. It goes over the wiper motor and the vent that leaks. It's broken up into 2 sections the smaller one goes over the vent, and larger one extends the rest of the windshield. I have fixed most of my problems, but it seems that more and more come up everday! So if any of you have a parts corrado and you still have the plastic piece that I lost email me.
Re: I'm getting so FRUSTRATRED!! (nuemerik)

The rain catcher is not two pieces. It looks like it should be but it isn't. They only came with the small peice on the passenger side.
