That's funny....when I saw the post I thought it was me until I saw the navy blue mk4 piece. I strolled through Manayunk with my new exhaust (on the way back from getting it installed at AWE). But I didn't go up into Roxborough.

GreentGTI- you got the magnaflow installed, that's awesome, I guess the situation was finally resolved. i hope you make it to the next Philly GTG, because I have been thinking about getting the magnaflow, but i haven't heard a MKIV with one in person yet.
Did AWE move yet? I heard they were moving to Fort Washington, but I didn't hear when they were moving.

Re: in roxbourough, philadelphia, pa - saw a navy blue mk4.... (synthsis)

synthsis- esher is organizing a GTG at home depot in Philly on the 18th of february, and then people are going to drive up to K.O.P. to the Little Devil(bmx clothing company) warehouse where a couple of the vortexers will be riding their BMX bikes. They have a training facility at their warehouse with a couple ramps for bikes. I couldn't make it to your Tweeter GTG because i was out of town, but I have seen your car there a couple times. Maybe I will stop in next week to chat with you. I live in media, so that is the Tweeter i go to anyway, and i am starting my hunt for a new TV. this thing i have now sucks! i am getting sick of wathing DVD's, and half the screen is black borders.

oops it's on the 17th!
synthsis- I am not asking for a "hookup", but sometimes it's nice just to have an honest opinion about different brands and models of TV's. There are so many different features on TV's now with the whole digital thing, and whether a tv is upgradeable, or how quickly it will become outdated. It seems like something big will happen with television soon, and with the whole digital cable/direct tv thing right now, I would just like to get a bigger tv with features that will be able to keep up with the improvements that will hopefully be coming sooner than later. See you there!

I did get it installed, but it was expensive b/c the muffler I bought had been hacked a bit and they had to make up for some missing space around the cat along with re-soldering the tips, so now it looks a little hacked too. (BTW, wound up paying as much, if not more than I would have for a new one after all was said and done.....hehehe....it's all about learning your lessons I guess.)
It does sound pretty nice though...just like those sound clips the people have posted, so for that I'm happy.
I'll definitely be at the next GTG and am even thinking of trekking to the one in MD tomorrow night.
I didn't hear that AWE was moving....and I can't recall where Ft. Washington is, so I don't know if it's good or bad. I love their current location though....while they're working you can go grab a coffee and try to mack on all the she-she chicks in Starbucks.

See you at the GTG, I'll be looking for you.

I heard they were moving at the last dyno day at AWE, but I haven't heard anything since then. I think Fort Washington is the first exit off the turnpike when you go up 476 and get on the turnipike, but i am not positive. It isn't too far, but the chesnut hill location is pretty convenient for me. I just wish it wasn't so far off 476. The backroads are cool when you get mods done, but when i had the corrado, and was taking it there for repairs, the back roads were a PITA!
Well, you will find me quite easily, I haven't had a haircut in months, and i will most likely be rocking an A.I. jersey!

[neo] A.I.? You mean.....artificial...intelligence?[/neo]

Yeah, jeeze! I know what you mean about the roads. On the way up Stinkin' Drive I hit a pothole that felt and sounded like the death of my stock suspension. I couldn't imagine it with a 2" drop and a tight susp. Sheesh!
I like that guy Yosh's Corrado that's there.....that's a pretty tight ride.

sorry, I assumed you knew about "The Answer" A.I.= Allen Iverson also known as PHILA (delphia), jersey number "3". I am a basketball nut, and a huge iverson fan, hence the username.
I don't know where to begin with lincoln drive, it's almost like they want you to hit a pothole and crash your car. I feel really bad for anyone who rides a motorcylce on that road, that seems like a deathwish. Philly is pretty bad in general, the manholes in the city are so sunken in it's ridiculous. They are like 2 inches below the road, and those 4x8 metal sheets they throw down everywhere to cover up potholes, roadwork, or whatever are trouble, half the time they move when you drive over them. I am definitely going with the Eibach Pro-Kit with the 1.2" drop, anything lower than that is bad news for me.
Yosh's car, are you talking about the black VR6 Corrado with the Z-charger? if so, excuse me, because i always think of it as Todd's car. It's a habit I must break. That car is really nice, and i thought about buying it when i was getting rid of my corrado, but decided to go with a brand new car instead. I thought it was impressive when it had the Schrick manifold, cams, etc..., but with the Z-charger it must be a whole lot better. When i was going there with my corrado, Yosh had a red G60 Corrado, and it seemed like it lived it AWE. They were always working on something with that G60, I know it had a good amount of mods, but they were ALWAYS working on it.
See ya at the GTG!

Word! I don't know what I'm gonna do when I get a suspension. Move? I think I might since my car means a lot to me.
