HAH!

No, I was quite annoyed, to be honest. My bumper should NOT look like that. They definitely did not seal the paint, and it's just flaking right off. The supports on either side of the main lower grille are almost bare, and the whole thing looks like it's orange peel.
I know where I'm not taking my new bumper to be painted...

I'm going back up there tomorrow morning. I have 2 VF mounts to install, my rheostat, my LED city lights, and my green-top sensor. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Is it ok to use a powerball on a painted, clear coated or maybe powdercoated finish? I thought the instructions said it was a no no. Would like to know if you guys find it safe to use.

I, myself don't use one. But Neil used it on his & the results were nice. After watching him use it on his (I believe they are powdercoated - not sure if they are clear coated too) rims, I'd see no reason not.. They came out very nicely done. You'll have to wait for his reply as to his form/technique. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Re: (andru1313)

yeah, my wheels are powdercoated and i have no issues at all with using the powerball on them. i know that powdercoating is very strong so i do not mind using it on that. if the wheels were any kind of material such as paint i would not do it, and like Drew said i use the slowest speed possible and do not push really hard with the drill.

Cool, thanks for the reply. I use a the powerball-mini on my Kinesis' lip after using painters tape to mask off the centers but with the stepped lip, it doesn't get into all the nooks and crannies... so until they come out with an even smaller powerball-micro... I'm not able to use that awesome product.
Looks like a good time guys... http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif
