i lowered the car this week about 2.3 inches in the front with H&R coilovers its a 03' GTI 1.8t i ordered some swaybar endlinks and put them on today but when i went to drive it the axles are constantly rubbing on the swaybar where as the stock ones there was no problem at all....y is this? im very upset and frustrated about this please someone help me
Re: installed front swaybar links but is still hittin axle? (tunedjetta)
If you did not rub with the original endlinks, why did you switch them out to begin with? I'd put them back in.
If you need to use the adjustables, play with their height, measure your OEM, then make the adjustables about 5/8" shorter as a starting point.
If with your OEM ones you rubbed and if at various settings the adjustables still allow rubbing, you'll need a new front sway bar.
