installed new brakes now what?

I read somewhere that after you install new pads your suppose to do some procedure/technique/voo doo incantation to properly break them in or something. No idea if this is true or if the dayQuil is kicking in!
Oh ya I installed new rear rotors/mintex redbox and oem front pads.

Yes.
You need to make several controlled gradual stops over increasing distances over time.
If they don't bed in properly, you can mess them up.

when you mean several controllled stops. Do you mean like "pumping" the brakes 3-5 times in succession at 20mph or slamming my brakes at 50mph?

yeah just make sure you don't slam on the brakes, cos it'll glaze them over and then they'll be pretty worthless.
just brake normally.
