nope...just pop out the old one carefully with a toothpick, or something non-metallic...and then carefully push the new one in...
took me a total of 1 hour to take the rain tray off, get the ecu out, remove computer, remove the chip, pop in the new one and reassemble... http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif
