I don't think I'd bother doing this unless it was cheap or easy, which I doubt it is, but I'm curious:
What's involved in replacing the manual controls with the Climatronic? Has anyone ever done this before? Pics?

honestly, its neither cheap nor easy.
The harness alone is tricky enough, then you need all the flap motors, a decent amount of work. Unless you have access to all the parts, dont bother.

I agree ... don't bother. The Climatronic looks cool, but that is about it. It's purely a case of form over function. Give me manual HVAC any day ... one less thing to break at 24,001 miles.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing? Isn't it just the harness to be replaced with the unit (of course). How different is the A/C system in manual vs. climatronic equipped cars?
