I am getting ready to start my VRT project. I was wondering any suggestions you guys have for installing the headspacer. I know you have to be carefull about not dropping the chains. How would I go about this and any thing else I need to know any help would be apperciated TIA.

Buy, borrow, steal a Bentley Manual........It'll pay for itself in less headaches in no time.....
On the chains ,I paint a stripe on the chain and gears before removing them while the engine is at TDC , and just line them back up on reassemble.....

How did you hold the timing chain up? I think I can borrow a friends bently. Thanks for the help any other suggestions anyone http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Bungee cord to the hood, or very carefully lay the chain down on itself,and just double check timing.....
