same places you go for insurance elsewhere in ontario: phonebook/internet/broker.

insurance company will tell you where to get appraised.

i know where to get it appraised, i had to in order to transfer it.

my question is will all insurance companies require an appraisal? as this will slow me down gettin my car on the road.

if it's an older vehicle, they will want to get it inspected at the very least. appraisal depends on what value you intend to place on it vs what they expect.

i had a 4 yr old car that they want inspected. and the inspection took 30 seconds. i basically just showed up, the guy walked around and that was it. i know that's not ur question but i just wanted to throw that out there for future searches.

if you are not insuring it for comprehensive or collision then i doubt most companies would need an appraisal...inspection possibly.
