Insurance Virgin Question regarding switching companies

I am switching insurance companies (saving over $150 a mth)
anywho I am leasing my car, do i have to notify the Leasing company ? (vw) ?
because they were intrested in who i was insured with before.
Also i am geting credited some $ from my insurance company.
do they do direct deposit or send me a cheque ? (they are doing direct withdrawl right now)
and if anyone has done this before how long did it take before you saw the $ ?
$125 bucks a month Bay beeeeeeeeee !

The new insurance company should be sending VW confirmation of coverage as they are the owner of the car. You only need confirm they have done that.
As for the refund, usually they are quick - within a month for sure. They want to close their files and move on.

I switched insurance companies and soon after I started getting letters from VW Canada saying they needed proof of insurance.
So you might as well let them know.
