It was addicted to oil. You should have seen the trail of black smoke as he pulled into Daun's. Big disiel rigs spew out less smoke. AFAIK he took it to Kentucky to the guy who built it and it had serious head issues. He can explain better than I, that's just what I picked up from others at Cincy.

ya, the intercooler pipe kept blowing off on the ride to Cincy. I drove out to Lexington to a tuner there that handles the Autronic standalone, and he got it running right. We did a compression test and noticed that 2 cylinders were a tad low, when I got home they were even lower so we are doing the rings now, among other things.

Personally, I think lugging that giant wing around is just too much even for the 1.8T to handle.
