Shall i use metal, aluminum, stainless
or silicone, and is there a difference in silicone? who makes the best?
Car is G60, using a Saab intercooler. What is ideal?

metal straight sections with silicon corners, it makes plumbing and fitting a lot easier.
use aluminum if you can find it, if not, thin walled steel is good too

google high temp silicone, i really like their stuff and the prices are good
