you can get a manual from the dealer that would explain how to change them without cracking any plastic, colored bulbs a available at most auto parts stores.

i got it done! it looks great. thanx 4 the help. i just took it to a bulb shop then took it to a stereo installer place and they did it all for free. i even got the bulbs for free
when i took it to the VW dealership they refused to take it apart for me, saying that if i did that and it fused out, all my interior lights would fuse, and it would cost over 2 grand to fix!! he was pretty rude about it too. oh well. i hate my dealership even more now.

So, did you get real UV black bulbs, or just some colored bulbs? I like the idea of having black bulbs inside the car.

i just got blue colored bulbs. how much do u think it would cost to get the real UV bulbs? cause allready they are losing their color and turning clear again. i also popped out the red part on the light on the bottom of both my doors and put blue colored lights down there, that looks phat.

AFAIK black bulbs are not available for motor vehicles, only 110/220 volt applications.
