Is $13500 a good price for a 2000 2.0?

A friend at work is selling her Silver Jetta. 24k on it, stripped model. I think she could get more, but what do you guys think?

How many miles?
You can get 2001 1.8t for less than 17k now.
I would personally go with 1.8t or VR6 if possible.

If its a GL (no power windows) then the price is too high. $12k or under would be fair. check http://www.edmunds.com

nah no way, I got a fully loaded 2.0 GLS with leather, TSW 16' wheels, few mods with 12k miles on it for 16 grand...
a stripped jetta would not get ya much

i got a 2.0 GL in march for 18500 canadian. thats about 12k USD, with about 5k mi on it. there's no way u should be paying 13500 for one now... http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif
