...(the one with the long line of cars driving down the coast) seems to be voiced by the guy who did Fat Tony on the Simpsons... just a thought.

nah thats uh... aw damn i forget his name. but he was in A Bronx Tale. he played the gangster guy who "C" kinda looks up to. he was also an angel in that chris rock movie where he becomes a white guy.

When the commercial came out, my dad asked what's Mercedes's anniversary all about. I answered "Mercedes celebrated its anniversary by getting a wrong plastic suppliers"

No, I think Estus is right. I haven't seen the commercial, but, Joe Mantegna has done M/B commercials before. You're thinking of Chaz Palminteri (who was also in "The Usual Suspects").

actually mercedes should have celebrated its anniversary a while ago...

YOu´re right, and you´re not. Karl Benz and Gottlieb Daimler both built their first car in 1886. Their companies later merged to Daimler-Benz in 1926.
But Daimler named their first car Mercedes in 1901. So the car brand Mercedes celebrates in 100 years this year.
