Stop light with a Passat rolling up [no traffic to be seen up ahead for miles]; I smile at the guy, he looks at me, and gives me a weird smirk - not even a smile or wave. In my mind, I thought, oh no another VW with an owner who doesn't get it (Dub scene).
Green light, he chirps ahead; his advantage. I took 1st into ~5+K, threw it 2nd; I was by his side in transition from 1st to 2nd. I just kept hammering away, focusing the road, my revs, and my heel/toe action. I kept going and finally noticed that I could barely make out his Passat in my rear view mirror.
I like to cruise with dubbers and hate embarassing another dubber but it got to me that this guy wanted to race me; doesn't even make sense if you take in account the power to weight ratio.
