I am not talking about the Inspire. I have been arguing with someone that Japan is not sending us any widebody Accord. TSX a.k.a Euro Accord, however, is a different story. He kept pursuing that he has seen VIN # starts with "J"'s widebody Accord in dealer lots.

Quick search on Autotrader, all the '04 Accords for sale within 25 miles of me are US-built (VIN 1).

Even 5spd accords?
My uncle's 2k1 Accord EX 5spd starts with J on the vin.

My '03 5-speed was made in Ohio.

My '03 was built in Japan. Don't know about '04s though.

Wide body Accord is still being made in Japan for export to Australia, Eastern European, Russia, Middle East etc. I'm not sure if they are still sending them to the US but it is possible since they still make them there.
Wide body Accords are also made in China and Thailand and Honda just started assembling them in Taiwan. The wide body Accord sold in Latin America comes from Ohio, and the coupe sold everywhere is from Ohio too.
