I put in a colder thermostat (160 degree) the other day but my temperature gauge still reads 190 just as it always has.
I would think that since the gauge is numerical, it should be more accurate then most cars. I have software to check the temps through the ECU and it really is running cooler but you wouldnt know it by looking at the gauge.
So is the gauge/sensor broken broken? or is this what everyone experiences with a colder t-stat?
Edit: Yes, I know I misspelled "gauge" in the title
