I have a 88 CIS-e Roc'. I just changed the oil flange gasket, and the oil cooler O-ring to stop an oil leak, but it idles like crap now.
I pulled the ISV, and cleaned it a bit however, when I push up the little sliding valve (with a screwdriver) on the downward (outgoing?)port, it only closes about 85% of the way.
I'm suspicious cause I forced it closed the rest of the way, installed it, and it seemed to idle fine for a moment.
So is the spring in there supposed to close it all the way? I'm not even sure if this is the root of my problem though.
