I would like to find out is the U.K vr6(AAA) same output as the US vr6(AAA)?Thank You.

I refer to the catalog written UK spec vr6 is 174bhp but US model vr6 is 170bhp is it correct because both also using AAA engine?

Anybody who knows please answes?Latest info for vr6 engine output somebody told me that day the last production mk3 vr6 in Germany came with 185bhp but VAG never put this in the catalog is it true?

the US VR6 (AAA) Engine has ranged in reported hp, depending on the car it is in
the Corrado SLC says 178 hp
I have seen 172 hp and 174 hp on the mkIII VR6

us horsepower and european horsepower is not the same. i think european horsepower is 1.36 x kilowatts, but us is either 1.34 or 1.32, I don't remember.

Whath is the different between SLC and MK 3 vr6 both with AAA engine and why SLC with higher bhp?

I'm no expert, but from what I've gathered from hangin out on the Corrado Forum is that the Corrado gets a little more HP via the higher flowing Cat. Corrado also has a 4 bar FPR instead of the 3 bar which may also contribute to the xtra HP. The final drive ratio is also lower than other cars, although I don't think that would influence Dyno numbers a little, would it? Anyways I think that sums it all up. O yeah i'm sure you know too that some Euro Corrados are 2.9L. Not sure if that is still considered a AAA.

when you buy a vr6 motor from the dealer (AAA code for a MKIII or corrado) you get a 2.9 straight from VW too!

The engine code for corrado vr6 2.9 is-ABV for u.k market.
