just like in the title says is there a differance in the obd1 and obd2 hydro lifters used on a 8v

ok so there would not be a problem if i am running them in a obd2 head with a hd spring kit

Why do people over complicate questions, if the only difference is weight then YES you can run them without any problems. You will actually be shaving a few grams off your valve train.

i thought all of the hydraulic lifters where the same from 85-99.5
