Is there an interior expert available? Headliner Fabric Question

Is there an interior expert available? My headliner desperately in need of replacing and I am wanting to keep it as OE as I can. Can anyone help with either a list and explanation of trim codes or fabric types that were used 88-92. I have a Mexico production GTI w/sunroof.
