if you're taking about the crease, then yeah it's pretty normal. Not sure if a hairdryer and a good leather treatment works yet....i'm gonna try before I throw in mine in a few weeks.
edit: if you're talking about the separation in the second pic, it looks like you can align it properly with a little effort.

sorry I should have been more specific. i meant the seperation. how one panel fits perfect. but the other side doesnt.

My '94 has the same issue. It hasn't been a priority to fix yet...
Same side too, oddly enough.

Common thing on that side due to the fact that the control module is there and some other parts. That panel gets pulled on more often then the pass side to access those things. Replace the old factory clips and it should snug it back in.

the only problem that I have with that leather panel is that there is a small section near the window that sticks up.. almost like it came unglued or unclipped.

when you re-install it make sure all the clips are lined up... I thought i had mine lined up but they weren't. When i finally got them lined up correctly it fit very tightly against the window and c pillar
