IT RUNS, finally , it runs, another stage done
this is a friend of mines car who i met building htis car. Me and travis (g60lessraddo) built this car for him last winter, its an 86 cabriolete, we did a 1.8 16v rocco swap w/ a re-built 2.0 head, that was deck'd, valve job, new springs, lifters, and seals. we kept the cabrio tranny and axles, we polished all aluminum, including intake upeer and lower, oil cooler, alternator, valve cover, distribitor, etc..also prepped and painted block and all misc. parts. We also installed the complete 16v. brake set up with stainless steel lines. I bent a 2 1/4" exhaust for it with a borla muffler, modified and installed the vr6 lower lip, the badgeless grill, and my dads girlfriend did the seats for us, which were corrado g-60, we pulled them apart and enlisted her to recover them in white, then we put them back together and installed them, yea the rear's were fun!!
i will be able to offer soon i hope. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif he drove it around for the summer and loved it. he's not into shows unfortunatly, drove it to waterfest, went to 1 fudruckers gtg.....

so then he wanted more!!
without spending ton of money

so last winter he kspt talking more power, not crazy 300 hp but more, i'd offer new harnesses, cams, turbos, lysolms, etc, but when i talked carbs and showed him pics of my old set up, he was hooked, and i had him start ordering parts when he had the loot, now we are at where we are today, finally running again!! http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

thing is crazy loud, has a header and no cat
and i installed a new set of cat 283 cams, a crane cams ignition w/ optical trigger, polished cam gear, vacuum adv. distribitor, low pressure fuel pump, low pressure fpr, i cut/re-used/modified alot of the factory bracketry trying to keep the cost down.

theres a whole lot more and a WHOLE lot more to come

keep a watch

Looks good man!
I have a question though.....can you fold down the top with the Corrado back seats? I stopped my Corrado back seat project because my top was rubbing the seat backs.

Re: (redvdubvert)

thanks guys, yes, the white rabbit is in montpelier, my buddy cam owns it now, it needs some work!! it is actually coming back to my shop in the next few days, cam rented a spot and is going to try to bring it back to life http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif finally after sitting, what 3 years now??
the back seat was actually spaced with some wood about 1 1/2" so the top wood slip by, but the seat is still comfortable http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif
chris, i love caddys, i have wanted to do that forever!! i NEED a ride!! hopefully you can park it next to the thing at waterfest!!

What A/C - Alt. Bracket is that. Is it an alternator mounted on an AC bracket where the A/C compressor ususlly is? Did you have to mod it, or did the alt. just bolt up. I like the alt. arm mod too. DIY!
