Re: It's beginning to look like a car! (SeattleGLI)

I haven't decided on a grille yet. I do have some really cool Euro headlights that may end up if I can make them work. They're not from a Golf or Jetta, but they are from a VW. If they work out, you'll be the first to see 'em!
The motor is not going to be stock. When it's done, it should be pushing 12-14 psi with an intercooled supercharger. I should have my standalone engine management stuff next week. Since no chip tuner wants to invest time in making a high psi supercharger chip for a VR6, I'm taking things into my own hands. I'm looking for 300+ whp.

Re: It's beginning to look like a car! (panic)

Thanks for the compliments, everyone!
In my protest against Autotech's North American Quaife stranglehold, I will be buying a Peloquin. I have been busting some ass on this thing in the last couple weeks because I want to drive it - NOW! I can't wait until it's done.
Sorry, no side shots yet. It's been raining for the past couple days, plus it's dark when I get home from work.

So, are the chimps helping or hurting? I'm thinking of picking up a couple myself to wash parts, cars and do other odd and ends.

Scott, looks like it's coming along quite well. Just a question though, were you able to retain the plus axle in the front? Did you just use the G60 spindles and hubs with the plus susp arms? Very curious. Thanks.
