Ok, I know there have been posts about this, and I have read my bentley, but I just cannot find the jack points under my car. I took a couple pics, can anyone point em out to me, the first pic is of the front and the second is of the rear.

thanks

Re: Jack Point (igneousGOlF)

See the three ribs in each pic - they should correspond with where the jack should be set under the rocker panel. The lip of the rocker panel should be set in the indent of the jack.
Hope that helps.

Re: Jack Point (DUBMON)

If you look in the first picture, see that flat almost square piece to the right of the grommet. That is the front jack point.
In the second picture. I always place the jack right on or next too the big grommet.
I jack my car up at least once every two weeks in those spots using a lift at my brothers shop and have never had a problem.
edit: my points of reference are if you are using a lift. If you are refering to the jack that comes with the car. Then I don't know I never use that death trap thing.

Re: Jack Point (alpine)

Here's pic... I tired to circle it right below the ribs... But like in any car, there is a little notch where the jack exactly fits. It's supposed to be the strongest point on your sub frame, so that it can hold the weight of your car... But don't trust jacks; REMEMBER TO USE YOUR JACKSTANDS!

Whenever I jack up any of the cars im working on, I put jack stands on both the passenger and driver side of the car... If I jack it up in the front, I put the jack stands in the rear, and vise versa.
