Flipp I already have 2x4's its a pain in the ass, the jack will be expensive, but very convenient so Im willing to drop the cash on it.
well you know, Griots Garage has one for around $400 which lowers to 2 3/4 inches, and it looks fackin sturdy. http://www.griotsgarage.com and search for "jack"
