x2 some wheels look bad-ass in black, but those don't...they'd look cheesy no matter what finish.I'd prefer it with these wheels:

But otherwise, it's pretty. The GC's major aesthetic failing, for me, is too much damned chrome. This deletes everything but the tasteful window outline, which I like a lot.
All black would be boring, imo - a smoked chrome or dark gray titanium finish would be badass, however. They should have done it all...you mentioned keeping the chrome around the windows, I think it should have been dark titanium or black, along with the "skid plate". They blacked out the JEEP on the tailgate, but not the front, sides or model ID....but I know they still need to promote the vehicle to the masses.
In for a Sir Mixalot-esque White Out Edition. :thumbup:Yep. Also, while I like the monochrome look, I think they could have been more adventurous, aesthetically, than just murdering it out and calling it a day. I'd love to see a monochrome white GC, or even a bright color like orange or green.
Imagine is not pictures.Imagine this: dark titanium gray paint job, color-matched grille, black grille mesh, skid plates rub strips, and trim between the taillights, matte Rubicon wheels..
I could chop it.Imagine is not pictures.![]()
Those changes include a black grille surround, Platinum Chrome mesh grille, black headlight bezels, black liftgate light-bar and, of course, 20-inch black rims

Strangely, I have to agree with this. Typically, the all-black/"murdered out" look isn't my thing, and I usually like the chrome surround to break up the look of the car. However, there seems to be a contradiction here. They should have done it all...you mentioned keeping the chrome around the windows, I think it should have been dark titanium or black, along with the "skid plate". I don't really like them but I don't think they are as bad as the wheels that other domestics are using now. I the the standard 20's would look good blackedStrangely, I have to agree with this. Also, those wheels are just awful.
