Jetta 1.8t 2002 Tip tranny issue ...
All upshifts are fairly smooth except going from 3rd to 4th.
About half the time I can feel the upshift since the car hesitates.
Also the other thing that's interesting is that when it goes into 4th
I see the RPM's drop and then half a second later drop again a little.
Is that quite normal or does anyone have any ideas what might be wrong?
Also I wouldn't mind logging RPM's vs. gear shifts while driving but
I'm not sure which measuring blocks I'm supposed to use, etc.

Strange, but here's some news that might help ...
Run Transmission adaptation /w Vag-Com, and see if it fixes it.
