IV Jetta 2-Door

I really would like to see a factory MKIV 2-door jetta like my old MK2 jetta. Does anyone else think that would be a great production car? Please everybody vote. I'd like to see a pole like this one make a difference.

VWAG and VWoA should really consider releasing to two version of the Jetta. The concept CJ was really a show stopper when it was displayed.
VWVortex has the power to influnce VWAG and VWoA on such a vehicle.
Point in case :
* The GLI Jetta
* The 25th Anniversary GTI

There's a huge difference between producing a one-off like the CJ and then tooling up for producing them. I think it's pretty late in the MKIV lifecycle for VW to invest the time in a 2-door Jetta. As for the Jetta GLI and the GTI DE, those are both relatively stock cars when it comes to the actual production of them. The only real differences are trim, or lack thereof, and minor mechanical modifications.

Anywaz, a car like that would be awesome..

I agree that it's probably too late in the MKIV for a 2-door model... Perhaps there will be a MKV 2-door?
Personally, I like the 4-door; if I wanted two doors I'd get the GTI - well, if I had enough money, a TT coupe.

the back half o that doesn't look a little like a civic coupe to you?

and duoflex, i'm not trying to dis anyone for liking the 2 door jetta...to each his own. as for the datsun thing...i'd never thought of that but i can see your point

The Jetta coupe would ba a nice addition to the line up, but like someone already said : it's too late now. I hope that VW does something for the MkV, I would really like to see a Corrado or a coupe.

that second shot looks like a passat coupe.....headlights a different??
